March about F.B.I. Hong Kong apprentices
The Colonial Office had to consult
the Governor of Hong Kong about awards
to H.K. students. He has suggested that
they should be financed out of Colonial
Development and Welfare funds.
Names of successful candidates
cannot be announced until the Treasury
have agreed to expenditure under this
head. We hope to have final decision in
a few weeks time.
